The Web to Trial Conversion Rate shows exactly what percentage of visitors to your website are moving through to starting a trial. The higher the percentage, the more efficient the website is at converting traffic into conversions. However, for a wider picture, the percentage should be viewed alongside total traffic figures. A 1% conversion on a website with five million visits is significantly more impressive than a 50% conversion on a website with two!

Making the KPI

Step One

To create Web to Trial Conversion Rate, you’ll need to import:

  1. Number of visitors to the website
  2. Number of trials

These values can be pulled into FUTRLI as non-financial data using our non-financial importer:

Step Two

Once this information has been imported into FUTRLI, we can use the Formula Builder to calculate the percentage:

Once your Formula is complete, the percentage will display in a lovely Card:
