Revenue per Employee

As the name implies, Revenue per Employee shows how much revenue is being generated per employee in a particular firm. This is a quick method of determining the value which is being contributed per Staff Member, regardless of their role. A low result may indicate an inefficient hiring policy or staffing problems that require further investigation.

Making the KPI

Step One

To calculate Revenue per Employee you’ll need to know:

  1. Total Revenue
  2. Number of Employees

Total Revenue should be being sourced from your accountancy platform of choice, whilst number of Employees should be uploaded into FUTRLI via CSV.

Step Two

You can create the KPI by dividing Total Revenue by your Number of Employees.
