Capacity Utilisation Rate

Capacity Utilisation Rate measures the rate at which potential output levels are being used. This enables you to monitor the efficiency of the production process. A high percentage should be aimed for. A low result indicates that you are failing to produce at an optimum level.

Creating the KPI

Step One

You can create Capacity Utilisation Rate by importing:

  1. Actual Output
  2. Potential Output

These values can be imported on a per item basis in order to measure the Capacity Utilisation Rate at a more granular level.
