Total Revenue per Available Room

Why it’s Important
Total Revenue per Available Room, or TREVPAR, is a performance metric within the Accommodation Industry, which measures how much revenue the Hotel or Hostel is generating per available room. Unlike REVPAR, this is calculated using total income from all sources rather than just that earned by each room. This ensures that TREVPAR is a useful metric for determining how effectively the Organisation is translating its most effective assets (i.e. its rooms) into revenue, and a means for providing a quick view of overall business health.
How to create it
Step One
To create this metric in FUTRLI you’ll need to know:
- Total Revenue
- Total number of rooms
Total revenue is a financial metric which can be sourced from your accountancy platform of choice or uploaded into FUTRLI via CSV. Total number of rooms is a non-financial metric which will have to be uploaded via CSV.
Step Two
Once you’ve imported, uploaded or synced the necessary variables, you’ll be able to create TREVPAR by dividing Total Revenue by your Total number of rooms.
